What was the highlight of Ratana Hotel Chalong

Fantastic holiday

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaned every day. The hotel is situated on a busy main road but set back and quiet. If you hire a scooter it is an easy access point to other areas such as Rawai ,Nai Harn and Karon. Chalong peer is just opposite with some nice restaurants. I feel it’s a good location and not as expensive as the main beach areas

Comfortable room and bed. Fantastic stay.

There's no coffee in the room. Should posses own transport or else you will be lost.

Comfortable room. Good value.

Room was clean and comfortable.

It was a bit isolated. No shops or restaurants in close walking distance. Always had to get into heavy traffic and drive to restaurants or shops.

Had a pleasant stay

The property was at a convenient location. Very obliging and courteous staff. The stay was pleasant. Swimming pool was well maintained. Though the property was on the road the traffic and other noises didn't disturb. The room had a microwave and a fridge.

Actually expected the mattress to be one like a queen size but there were 2 mattress joint together, that caused them to seperate. No complaints other than that

Pleasurable stay at Ratana Chalong

The is was really comfortable with a large bed and desk space for working, modern bathroom, kitchen area and balcony! The pool area is really great, the pool is beautiful and there are sun chairs for relaxing. Five min walk on the way to the pier there is a street with great restaurants and bars and a 7/11. The best restaurant is called Bite! It has amazing Asian and western food including smoothie bowls and vegan options and it has an associated gallery that promotes education about sharks and sells art to contribute to a shark conservation fund.

There were no Matts in the gym for basic stretches or functional exercises and the staff were not the friendliest! If I didn’t greet them first in the mornings they would not greet me…

It is local to an area of Phuket that I am familiar with.

Access in and out of the premises is hard due to busy traffic. Lose hot water and water pressure easy.

nice enough place

good location, large balcony and staff were friendly

pool was closed for almost all of our stay which we didn’t know beforehand, the pool was one of the main reasons we booked. fitness suite was also not great but there is a well equipped gym downstairs you can use for only 100 baht

Very Good

We stayed in two different room types, standard double room and 2 bedroom apartment. Both were fine. One room in the apartment didn’t have a window which was a bit depressing. Good service, water every day, nice staff and great pool area. Close to Chalong Pier. Need a motorbike to get around and to the beach.

Not all rooms have windows.

good value hotel with nearby gym

I enjoyed my stay here and extended a fair few times. the hotel gym is poor but the gym under the hotel is only 100 baht and is much better. room was cleaned every day and fresh water provided pool was good and great to sunbathe and relax good value for money, wifi sometimes cut off but was able to work remotely for my job

Friendly staff, gym out the front (separate business).

WiFi was very poor in my room. Location not great, kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Very nice staff and clean big rooms, hotel is located in a not so touristy place but near a big highway. very good place

When checking out we were asked if we stole a hairdryer even tho we didnt see one in the room during our stay.

Comfortable group stay

Incredibly helpful staff who greeted you every time they saw you. Even rented our motorbikes from the hotel itself. Room was cleaned everyday though the floors become quite slippery after. Had loads of channels from different countries. Comfortable stay for the price you pay. I didn’t regret my stay.

No hotel restaurant/room service. Pool was a little under-maintained.

Wonderful

Swimming pool was ok but only about 3 feet deep at its deepest

It's in an area that isn't that convenient to too many activities except boat trips to the islands. I came here to meet a friend from Vietnam who ended up staying half rhe time I was there and I basically was left alone and for a single man it's really not that great a place as massage places were limited and only a few things to do. Mall near by wirh a few stores. How
